Throughout the winter months, you ll find test plot reports, complete with commentary from Farm Journal Field Agronomists Ken Ferrie and Missy Bauer, in the pages of Farm Journal. Now we re offering the reports in an interactive format with a free tablet app. The app allows all of the multimedia information on a topic or tool used in the test plots to be accessible on the Apple iPad. Once downloaded, you can browse through the recent technologies, including handheld, harvest, machinery and planting tools; steering systems; and zone management, by subject. In addition to written reports, the tablet app includes photo slideshows, videos and web links to more supporting Farm Journal reports and company resources. When available, there are videos of Ferrie and Bauer explaining how they used the technology in the test plots.
